The Post-Gracious President

Whenever he must make a difficult decision, Mr. Obama complains it's Bush's fault.

Policy differences, of course, are fair game for sharp debate, and in the end history will apportion the credit and blame due Mr. Bush. By any measure, however, Mr. Obama's ongoing snipes against a predecessor who is no longer involved in setting policy are extraordinary. They are more extraordinary still issuing from a president who campaigned on a promise to transcend the political divisions of the past.By WILLIAM MCGURN

Remember when Barry said he would take all of the troops out of Iraq and sent them to Afghanistan?..Every president in my life time has taken the high road and not criticised the previous administration. Was Bush critical of Clinton? Was Clinton Critical of Bush 1? Was Bush1 critical of Reagan and was Reagan critical of Carter and on and on? No. Barry is even more clueless than Carter is now and will be a one term president. He campaigned on change. Americans don't like his changes.

We're Governed by Callous Children

"The biggest threat to America right now is not government spending, huge deficits, foreign ownership of our debt, world terrorism, two wars, potential epidemics or nuts with nukes. The biggest long-term threat is that people are becoming and have become disheartened, that this condition is reaching critical mass, and that it afflicts most broadly and deeply those members of the American leadership class who are not in Washington, most especially those in business."
...

"We are governed at all levels by America's luckiest children, sons and daughters of the abundance, and they call themselves optimists but they're not optimists—they're unimaginative. They don't have faith, they've just never been foreclosed on. They are stupid and they are callous, and they don't mind it when people become disheartened. They don't even notice."

Protest and demonstration has long been the domain of the left. Most conservatives are too busy acheiving real success to complain about inconveniences or even serious obstacles placed in their path by goverment. This administration has changed that, hopefully for a long time. Thursday a spontaneous event took place on Capitol Hill. Tens of thousands of people from all walks of life on less than a weeks notice found the time to lobby congress in oppossition to a massive take over of 1/6th of the economy in the name of health care. This is just the lastest in a revolution by the everyday people of the US in opposition to a growing beaurocracy that has gobbled up our future for generations to come.
The Obama administration has awakened a long comotose giant that is preparing to retake the country for the people that make it work.

Choose Liberty, there is no such thing as equality.
