SAN CARLOS, CA: TOUR TESLA MOTORS, MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and State Treasurer Bill Lockyer are scheduled to tour Tesla Motors in San Carlos today to highlight clean technology investment in California.

Tesla Motors is a new car company that makes electric sports cars can drive up to 220 miles per charge, according its Web site, http://www.teslamotors.com.

The company produces a 2008 Tesla Roadster, which is 100 percent electric and claims less than 2 cents per mile, according to the Web site.
