I like the one from Korea that my kids received, for summer vacation. It is a document the size and thickness of the passport page and is glued on. Actually looks like it is worth something.

Though I had been to Korea twice (two years) I never used a passport.

Us Americans have to get visas for few or unfriendly countries (middle East mainly)
I used to have one entering Croacia by boat from Italy in the shape of a vessel. Pretty cool

I was there in October of 2005 and almost got stuck in Aguas Caliente thanks to an avalanche taking out the railroad tracks.
