Anjuna used to be popular for full moon parties, but that's all over now. The parties are banned, and the beach is actually quiter now. The beach is not particulary great, and not so good for swimming.
On Wednesday, the Anjuna flea market attracts visitors and vendors from all over Goa. It's a great place to buy all the funky bits you see for sale everywhere, since all the vendors come here. Bargain hard (they ask 500, you pay 150). There's a relaxed pizza cafe next to the market if you need a break from the business.
