Peace Corps

If anyone has any specific information about the Peace Corps then please let me know. I am considering volunteering. I am an intermediate Spanish learner, and am trying to decide what countries to request. Ideally, I would end up in a place where I can practice mostly Spanish (as opposed to an indigenous language) and have hot running water. I don't expect to live in the lap of luxury or anything. ...

Moving to a Spanish-Speaking Country - Need Advice

I need your advice. I have been toying with the idea of getting my TEFL certification and moving to a Spanish-speaking country in order to teach English and immerse myself in Spanish. I would appreciate your recommendations as to the cities I might consider. I would like to go to a place that I could enjoyably live long-term. I am a guy in my 30s. I would like to be in a place where the residents are friendly to gringos. I also like at least a little bit of an urban feel, although it doesn ...

I want an environment where I can meet people. I am an advanced beginner right now. ...

If they have a student residence all the better. Is this city a good place to learn spanish for a couple of weeks? I hear that the dialect i ...

Medellin

I am thinking of taking at 1-2 week trip to Medellin to have fun . . . and also to do some Spanish studying. Where would you recommend I stay? It can be cheap or expensive. Also, can you recommend a place where I can get one-on-one Spanish tutoring? Any other places I should consider in Colombia? ...
