USA to be 30 % Hispanic Heritage by 2050

''The US Census Bureau last year reported that, by 2050, 9 per cent of Americans would be of Asian heritage (up from 5 per cent now), those of African descent would remain about 14 per cent and Hispanics would double as a proportion to 30 per cent.

Non-Hispanic whites, now 66 per cent of the population, would drop to 46 per cent. A nation of minorities would result.''

That is quite an increase; I am guessing that the majority would be from Mexico however a sizeable proportion would be Colombian?

In 50 years there will be so much race mixing in the USA that even more than 30% of people will look hispanic. I read Europeans criticizing the US about politics etc.. but I know of no other rich country that is so accepting of all people. I am a hispanic american and never felt out of place anywhere in the US. (I'm talking about people being born in the US or at least that speak like Americans)

Whites students are already a minority in Las Vegas school's... 41% hispanic, 35% white, 14% black.
At my school, we are 58% hispanic, 20% black, 17% white...

The city has passed the 30% mark for hispanics.
As far as how many are Colombian versus Mexican... Well, Vegas has a very small population of Colombians... so if you are living in Miami, I'm sure it would seem like the % of Colombians would be higher vs in Vegas it would be lower.

Probably, most of the southwestern states are similar!!

for sure, it will fill you up.... and somewhat tasty, but not a good food combination, with so much starch mixed with so much protein. Reminded me of alot of Cajun Food, actually,... if it had a bit of spice added. (Where's the Tabasco con Habenero!)

The place was nice, inside.
