The new issue of The Arepa is out and we're having the launch party on Thursday night at el Deck on Calle 10 from 8pm to 12. (See the magazine: http://www.thearepa.com/?p=806)
The magazine is in all color and it has changed from being about tourism 101 to being more about the music, arts, culture, and events in the city. Upon seeing the new Afro-Colombian themed issue a friend of mine, a Paisa, made this comment:
I read some articles and i can say that finally there is a down to earth cool magazine about the city. I guess local people´s effort to talk about nightlife (but just a little segment of it) has only been done properly on
lapiscinavacia.I really digged the openness of the articles and the neutral view. The city narrated in a proper style. Thanks again.
So stop by on Thursday at el Deck to get a copy as they always run later in the month.
