Maybe Ms. P will make E a commander of one of his peace bases. Let's see how long he last in one of the comfort villages.

...and so it goes

BIG MOUTH our great buisnessman would be a great chief of one of the peace bases, or all was a lie?

Pappassito says on Aug 10, 2009, 06:58:

The Colombian electorate will never give her that office... Not only because she is a woman, but they see her as bosom buddies with el chihuahua... Chavez. You have to give the average Colombian more credit than that.

This will make an easy win for Sergio Fajardo.

but Sergio has to be very clear what he wants to do in security. That will be an important fact for the elections.

makopp5 if you let E be el jefe of one of the peace bases he can actually do something rather than run his mouth about nothing.

...and so it goes

makopp5 says on Aug 10, 2009, 09:55:

yes, but anyway he is just a small guy with a big mouth. He is like all the people which praise socialism: Everthing is great, but don`t touch me. The same like the mother from Chavez: before Chavez was president she was a humild women and know she wears a lot of gold, Channel watch and Luis Viton bags. So socialism is great, but never touch me.

let's be real. as fine a candidate as sergio is. he's stepping into the big league and he's a small fry. he's hot and loved in antioquia. but the current administration and the league before them are a VERY POWERFUL AND DEADLY lobby. he better be ready to take them on because they're ruthless and have every intention of holding on to power. what was the name of the candidate who was assassinated and gaviria ascended to the throne....?????. everyone wanted to pin it on escobar and his ilk. but the truth around poblado at the time was different. they said that the "families" did it. so i have all hope in sergio fajardo, but i also want him alive. he's a principal part of colombia's national treasure.

quantum.........as i've mentioned in other posts, one can usually talk about issues in colombia in generalities with no fear of reprisal. however, naming names can be very hazardous to one's health.....take that to the bank. DONT NAME DROP.

however, in this particular case, back then i was just one of the in crowd partiers in poblado and that was how they were referred to. i had no inside information about the "whos".

well, families dont' just disappear, they evolve, the young replace the old, etc. i know from the folks i friendlied with in those days, that the families are still around. but a look around bespeaks a different social fabric now. however, the underlying rules still apply.
