Now get this MIA-Bogota via Copa is 398.00 for 12/24-01/05 via Expedia and Medellin Airport is now 929.00 on Expedia...and Medellin Airport is 780.30 on Copa Website and Bogota is over 800.00 on Copa Website..

I am so damn jealous of the good prices to Bogota not fair..out of MIA>.

I dunno, I haven´t bought any end of the year tickets yet, but over 600 seems steep. It sounds like it´s too late now, but I´d think it´s better to wait and see if Spirit or anyone else comes up with anything cheaper a little later in the season.

Bogota has 398.00 with Copa Airlines out of MIA excellent price...and maybe take a local flight out of Bogota into the Medellin Local airport...probably little over 600.00 and save on the taxi too by not going into Rio Negro...But man two stops out of MIA...not for me..Panama and Bogota and then Medellin and have too purchase two tickets but if you have time and patience maybe cheaper to get to Medellin for Christmas week..Happy with the 730.00 both morning flights and one stop in Panama but going into Rio Negro..

Try Spirit to Bogota out of FLL. In every Sunday's Miami Herald Travel section they list the most recent airfares to Latin from MIA which isn't always accurate but provides a quick idea.

You might have to play with dates/times to get the better fare but worth it if you have the flexibility.

Sorry fares to MDE so high now like a lot of them.
