honduras? Cuba? Happiest countries. Is this a paid advertisement or merely liberal propoganda?

jajaj Honduras 10...I just came to Colombia straight from Hondo...was in dat hell hole for 2 years. Worked within the society and gotta say it was quite a group of the most depressed y angry people Ive come across. You could get someone killed for 5 bucks there, literally. They may think their happy as they are drunk 24/7 and f*(& like bunnies...anyway not looking to happy the last few days there...my friends tell me its getting bad and the military may split...

Mali es pasion!

Costa Rica leading the way. Well, a little insight. My handle on PBH is "jimmycr" the CR stands for Costa Rica. Happiest place on earth...hmm. Well, I could certainly make a case for or against that statement. Maybe we could ask a few residents of Desamparados or Barrio Mexico.

Only one English speaking country, and that country is Jamaica.

That sounds strange to me. My impression is that Jamaicans are clamoring to get out.

Am I wrong?

The picture of Vietnam really captures the essence of "Happiness". I don't think the people looked very happy. The guy on the moped wearing a surgical mask to avoid traffic pollution, the 2 guys peddling tourists around on bikes. The tourist wearing a backpack on the front to avoid being robbed. Happiest place on earth!!

It seems to me this should be called the "10 happiest places on earth to land with a fat bank account full of foreign currency". Very tough for the locals often times though. I can tell you that Vietnam is really a very cool place, and the people there are happier (than in the past) because of the economic growth of the past few years allows people top find a job and make enough money to eat daily. A full stomach tends to make most of us a little happier no matter where you are/from. Vietnam is a super safe place, only real crime is petty pickpocket type of stuff. Especially for a foreigner. The locals know they will get their head lopped off for messing with the cash flush tourist. Happiest? not sure about that one.

I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!
