G'day All,
Wifes birthday coming during the next long weekend in November. So Iam looking for somewhere a bit different from the usual haunts that we have already visited to take her and the kids for a bit of a getaway.
I have heard Barichara is a beautiful little town but its probably a little too far from Bogota. Any other ideas would be appreciated,
Scott
PS Villa de Lleya, Villavicencio and Giradot are all out. We have done them all too many times. Looking for something with nice views and fresh air so the kids can run their legs off.
PSS And whilst Iam here a photo from last weekends drive around Macheta way.

The hike to El Cero will certainly reduce the energy levels. There is a decent hotel in town and also rooms at the Swimming Pool. Let me know if you are interested. I can help with reservations Mr. Bill Somondoco 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Our boys are managing the farm but are very busy at this time. http://poorbuthappy.com/yourthing/post/uploading-photos-for-dummies/ 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

webmanco says on Nov 7, 2009, 17:10: Regardless of the distance I would take Barichara, Guane. It would be a nice experience for the whole famiy, kids would be busy in San Gil and Parque el Gallilneral.
