Hola Bill,
Your blog about your garden http://www.slightlycreaky.com/BillArchives2.html#Walk proved to be one of the most informative posts I ever read on PBH about the Colombian flora.
Is there any chance you coud provide the Latin names for your flowers?
You sure have some lovely species I'd like to grow in my Barranquilla garden. Unfortunately, the English names don't help much. Any chance to get the Spanish equivalent, or even better, the international Latin equivalent?

In the US I knew the name of all the plants and birds around, That compulsion evaporated after getting here to Picaflores. The plant were natives, cuttings from friends or purchased in the nearest vivero. More than half are varieties of Hibiscus. They grow very well here. If you come to visit I would be happy to give you cuttings. Mr. Bill Somondoco 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
