kidstrife says on Jun 4, 2008, 00:06: When I was there back in 2005,the exchange rate of US to Boliviano was 1 to 8.I paid 40 bolivianos for a hotel with private bathroom and tv;almuezo was like 6 bolivianos with a soup and a bandeja. The transport cost 1 or 1.5 boliviano each way.Taxi was reallz cheap too. There is a small town called villa tunari which is two hours away is pretty nice where there is a animal refugee where you can volunteer. One gets to work with monkeys,if more luckily, with jaguars. It was one of the highlighs in my trip. The prado avenue is where all the fancy resturants are.Dont miss it.Also, there is a jesus statue in cochabamba which if I am not mistaken,is taller than the one in rio.
