Here's a couple links to get you started learning a little.

The first is a link to properties for sale by a bank (foreclosed properties)

https://ebank.bancomercantil.com.bo/ofertas.htm

This one is primarily lots/raw land/farmland

http://www.bolivianland.net/en/inmuebles.asp

And just for grins, here's a site with a few rentals in Santa Cruz.

Feel free to ask anything, if my limted expertise can be of any help...

There's one. Bolivia is, apparently, noy quite on the cutting edge of internet marketing...but Saturdays are apparently the big days for classified ads in newspapers in SC. You could try that, too - if you have an idea about geography of SC.

I don't have data about Bolivia, but I think maybe It is among the lowest prices These are some numbers of the most expensive cities and its neighbourhoods (Prices per sq meter in US dollars):
Buenos aires $3.160 ( La Recoleta)
Santiago de Chile $3.060 (Los Condes)
Panamá $2.815 (Avenida Balboa)
Caracas $2.625 Country club (at the east)
Bogota $2.250 ( La Cabrera)
Quito $1.315 ( Valle de Cumbaya)

Coldwell Banker also has it own index (HPCI) Home Price Comparison Index . This annual “apples to apples comparison of similar middle management homes finds that an average 2,200 square foot, 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bath home in Bogota costs an average price of US$140.100, making the city as one of the cheapest real estate market in the world.

As regards foreign ownership of property in Bolivia, what laws are in place? Some countries restrict property ownership by non-citizens and some do not. In light of recent visa requirements for US citizens visiting Bolivia, has there been a similar tightening of rules regarding ownership of property, acquisition of long term visas and other restrictive measures?

Maojaimes...........

Your math does not add up?

By your figures of $140,100 for a 2,200 sq. ft. house in Bogota works out to be $63.68 sq. ft
or $672.47 a sq. meter not $2,250 as indicated. Correct????????????

Maojaimes........................

Also,I just toured housing market in US sunbelt.......brand new 2,100 single story with attached two car garage, 5 stainless steel appliances, completely fenced with concrete block stuccoed, all concrete driveways, sidewalks and patio finished and completely landscaped with concrete tile roof, in beautiful clean sub-division with parks, playground equipment and artifical lakes with fountains, and all schools finished, was just $160,000 US$. AND thats just $76.95 sq. ft or $ 804 US$ a sq. meter. Pretty good I'd say.

BUT, don't get me wrong I would not trade my beautiful Colombia for anything.

I am just a sticker for accuracy.
